Community Trunk or Treat Event at RRMC's West Ridge Center
Rutland Regional Medical Center invites local families to our West Ridge Center Trunk or Treat event on October 28 from 5-7pm.
RUTLAND, VT, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Rutland Regional Medical Center invites local families to our West Ridge Center Trunk or Treat event held outside at the West Ridge Center, 1 Scale Avenue, Bldg. 10 in the Howe Center in Rutland on Wednesday, October 28, 5-7pm.
The West Ridge Center staff and community partners are getting into the spirit of the season. They will provide candy from the trunks of their decorated vehicles in the West Ridge Center parking lot. Our West Ridge Center staff look forward to this special event and the chance to connect with neighbors and friends.
“Each year, this event exceeds our expectations,” said Faith Stone, Program Director at the West Ridge Center. “We have so much fun welcoming members of our community and their children for lots of safe spooky Halloween fun. Attendees and staff wear costumes and put a lot of work into their displays.”
The idea for the Trunk or Treat came about as a way for the West Ridge Center team to celebrate Halloween with patients, their families, and members of the greater Rutland community. Images from last year’s Trunk or Treat event can be viewed here: 2025 Trunk or Treat at West Ridge Clinic.
“We are all very dedicated to the work we do here at West Ridge Center, and we are proud of our patients and their commitment to recovery,” said Stone. “We are inspired every day by the strength of our patients, and this event allows us to bring the community together in a fun and engaging way.”
West Ridge Center staff will be participating in the event along with partners from the Rutland Turning Point Center, Rutland High School Nursing Department, and representatives from the Vermont Prevention Lead Organization (VPLO) program. Information on prevention and treatment will also be available.
There will be train rides again this year courtesy of the Giancola Corporation.
